Where and when is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will have two options:
10/23 from 4-7p at Bicycle World
10/24 from 6-8:30a at the start line
What time do I need to arrive on event day?
In order to start the event at 9a, we recommend arriving no later than 8a.
Where is the start/finish location and is there parking?
The event will start and end at the Port of Dubuque parking lot. The address is 301 E 5th St. Dubuque, IA 52001
What is the full event day schedule?

Is there a post-ride meal/party? What's provided?
Yes! The start/finish area will include food for all participants, featuring a Dubuque-inspired twist on a delicious hand pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. Additional treats will be annouced as we get closer to ride day!
What distances are offered?
Just one distance of 78 miles is offered.
Are the roads closed to traffic?
No, all roads will be open to traffic. Please exercise caution while riding and be courteous to passing motorists.
Are there timed sections / is it a race or just a ride?
There are no timed sections on course. Due to the logistics of crossing the river by ferry
How many aid/feed stations are there and what do they provide?
All aid stations will be stocked with water, electrolyte/carb beverage
Is the course marked? Will there be cue sheets or GPS files?
What kind of support is on course (mechanical, medical, SAG wagon)?
How do I register?
What are the registration prices and deadlines?
Is there a jersey or swag included? By what date do I need to register to guarantee it?
Can I change my distance after registering?
What is your refund/transfer/cancellation policy?
Is there a registration cap or will it sell out?
Is a helmet required?
Yes, helmets are required for participation. You gotta protect your noodle!
Do I need a USA Cycling license or any other membership?
No, this event is not sanctioned by USA Cycling and no membership is required.
What happens if I can't finish / need a ride back (SAG)?
SAG support vehicles will be available on course. More information regarding SAG support will be distributed closer to event day!
Are e-bikes / e-assist bikes allowed?
Yes, e-bikes are permitted. However, given the length of the ride, it is encouraged for riders to ensure their bike is operable if the battery runs out.
Can I ride with friends / start in the same wave/group?
There will be just one wave and a mass start (so, yes!).
What happens in case of bad weather / will the event be canceled?
The ride will take place rain or shine. Start/finish line festivities may be adjusted, but the ride will happen!
Where should out-of-town riders stay? (Add hotel/airbnb links if you have partners)
There are numerous hotels around town. Partners announced soon!
